|  use of wireless adapter hi friends i am using dataone accout with smartAX MT841 modem along with that i got wireless adapter WCBGH03H PCMCIA Wireless card. can any tell me what is the use of this wireless adapter. can we use internet using this adapter i.e without having link form phone line to modem ... |

Rep Power: 3  | ^ if you need wireless internet connection in a Laptop then you have to insert this wireless card into the modem . Modem transmits internet to the Laptop thru this wireless card . |

| that means no need of connecting telephone line to laptop but we have to connect the USB line from modem to laptop is it right ?? mmm |

Rep Power: 3 | ^ yes , if you donot have a wireless router then we suggest to connect laptop thru modem's USB . But MT841 can be used to provide wireless internet to Laptop . Last edited by mmm; 10-11-2006 at 08:24 PM. |
