Default wirless (WLAN) does not work after reboot of modem

    Hi,

I have taken a BSNL 500c plan; got a Nokia Siemens Networks Residential Router 1600 along with it.

I have a laptop having wirless built in card.

I setup wireless lan with following by connecting to the modem through ethernet and everything works fine till I reboot the modem.

Upon reboot, laptop is not able to detect the wireless network, even though WLAN indicator LED is green on the modem. To make it work, I need to connect via ethernet, change authentication to 'Open', save, then change it to 'WPA-PSK'.

But if I make authentication to 'open' or 'shared', above problem is not there. i.e it works even across reload of modem.

    Network Authentication: WPA-PSK
    Pre-shared Key:*******
    WPA Group Rekey Interval:0
    WPA Encryption:TKIP
    WEP Encryption:0

    Anyone hit this issue ?

    Check in Wireless Network settings:
    Wireless LAN card options.
Your WIFI network MUST have a secure key.
