my frnd using new land line connection.is it possible to use old modem with new phone number UT300R2U.If so pls need some suggestions. ......appriciated

The modem can be used with any phone number even from other DSL ISP's other than BSNL

Is it a new one or transferred from another BSNL exchange ?
Then your Old BB userID and Passsword can be used/transferred to the new Telephone number. ( this involves transfer of
Telephone Exchange )
Modem can be used with UserID PW
allotted by any ISP.

If the old numberBSNL ( still in use) has a BB connection , you cannot use it in the new BSNL telephone connection

actually my frend got that modem from another custumer.but he taken new phone line and number.officers gave him new id and pw. but its not connecting tell me settings if nessesary

Press the reset switch at the back with power on for 20 to 30 seconds.
Modem settings will revert to Factory settings.
Then try "Dialer" mode and enter your friend's UserID and PW
using his telephone line and try to connect.
