i recently shifted from sify to bsnl(500 combo).i have 2 problems..Please anybody give me the solution.

1. i am getting 220kbps on internet download manager(IDM) from file hosting services and other sites. But i am not getting my full speed in utorrent. Even i am downloading from private torrents and they have good seeds. my download speed is not exceeding 180kbps in utorrent. i tweaked utorrent, patched tcp ip connections from 10 to 100,tuned my nic card with tcpip optimizer.


2. my upload speed is very low. Everybody knows seeding is very important in private torrents. I put upload speed unlimited in utorrent for some hours then i put my upload speed to 10kbps .but there is no diff between them. Even I downloaded 6.5 gb my upload is below 250mb.so that my share ratio is very low on private torrents.


Anybody please help me to get rid of these 2 problems.

I hope that you have forwarded the port for Utorrent with your modem.

Because you are using private torrent's, there are very small no. of leechers all of them are seeders... so very few people are downloading... that's why your upload speed is low....

i opened all the ports from 49152 to 65535.see the attached pic below....


in protocol section i selected only tcp.i will select tcp/udp then i will post the result.

any way thank u to all for commenting....

i selected both tcp/udp. but there is no diff in speed.please anybody help me...

i got banned from one private torrent...
