could be bad contacts/ blackened contacts etc.
replace all Rj11 cables with fresh connectors.
Mention your modem model/make to check
statistics/Adsl data. Also mention your tariff plan.
Hope you have cleared your computer of all temp files/cache/etc
accumulated over two years. Done a disk de fragmentation etc.
Keep start up programs to minimum.
    just try ccleaner from filehippo.com

Lamp above Internet on my router stops blinking and then suddenly webpage stops loading and then again at some moment it starts........what can i do to fix it?

    I m using BSNL 256Kb/s unlimited plan

I use ccleaner program regularly to clear temp files and broken registries.
Also i have only 9 to 10 programs launching at startup and harddisk is defragmented.

Is this a problem with my router???

seen. not much scope for changes.
    You can try GDMT.

go to access control/DSL menu and uncheck adsl2 + rest as usual.
Down load a small file ( say 1 MB) with a Free Download Manager and report the speed.

Download todays Free application Anvir TaSKManager from
Giveaway of the Day - free licensed software daily. Today: AnVir Task Manager 6.1.0 - AnVir Task Manager controls everything running on computer, removes Trojans, increases performance and tweaks Windows.AnVir Task Manager provides convenience by ...
and recheck your needed applications. and memory usage.
If possible Update your OS to sp3. (If windows XP )

I unchecked adsl2+ and installed TaskMan then Downloaded 5 mb file from FileHippo with FDM

    FDM shows speed between 20 KB/s to 25 KB/s.Mostly 22 KB/s.
But when only one section is remaining of file being downloaded speed rediculously falls below 10 KB/s and sometimes even 2 KB/s
    please give me some solution

I am also saying like essbebe say " seen. not much scope for changes. "
Your line is good, Even your Line speed is good so there is no problem from BSNL side.
I dont know you had change your Plan UL750 to 500 or not. Because you say your download speed currently 20KBps to 25KBps. If you not change your Plan and using the 500 plan from the first time then there is only a option to reinstall your Operating system from clean setup. Some time Virus or spyware reduce the download speed.

    Default UT300r2U

m using BSNL 256Kb/s unlimited plan
for a 256Kbps connection your FDM speeds are acceptable.
The slow speed may be forverifying MDS code for the download.
( accuracy and corruption free ).
NO Download Manager will give you a constant speed.
or for that matter from any web site/ torrent sites.

1..If you have the Installation Cd for XP, try sp3 update.
    try sfc /scannow
    or
    2.
    try a winsock application.
    Repair/Reset Winsock settings
    3.
Check for updates for Flash/JaVA RUNTIME ETC.
    filehippo.com

    4. Upgrade driver/s for your ethernet card.

avt_aniruddha sometime the Virus and the spyware cause the low download speed. When you connect the net from Desktop PPPoE or from the Router cheak the lan connection on your taskbar. Is it continue ON when you dont browse the internet or downlod the file. If there is no Virus or spyware using your bandwidth then the Lan connection on the taskbar is shown inactive or some time it's bliking.

If you have genuine Windows XP install on your Computer then note down your CD Key.
You can try from format the HDD and install the fress copy of the Operating Syatem.
