    Exclamation Unable to open up configuration page 192.168.1.1

    Hi friends,

    I am using type IV WA3002G4 modem/router, i am not able to open up the configuration page of the modem/router with the ususal url address 192.168.1.1

    It gives me "HTTP 400 Bad Request" in IE 8, on windows XP 3.

    I shall appreciate any help form you.

    1.Easy method .
    RESET to factory settings.
    Press the reset micro switch with power on for 20 to 30 seconds.
    ( may be at the back or bottom right hand corner small round hole )
    2.
    Start/ Network/LAN
    properties
    Network settings
    TCP/IP
    properties
    enter
    192.168.1.10
    255.255.255.0
    192.168.1.1
    apply save.
    Try again 192.168.1.1
    3.
    If you are connected to Internet
    Current IP Check
    type address in browser address .
    Modem access page may appear.

    @ essbebe, If only i could find the reset switch i could proceed further, i could not find the reset switch any were on the modem/router.

    @ meetdilip, the settings are all the same, still not able to access modem configuration page throught the url 192.168.1.1

    Guys the Internet is working fine i can browse/surf through www, the problem here is I am not able to access the modem/router configuration page through the url 192.168.1.1, or any other means as you have proposed.

    Thanks for taking time out for me, but a solution would be much appreciated.

    Start > run > cmd > ipconfig/all, post the screen shot

    Type your IP address ( 117.xxx.xxx.xxx) in browser and try.

    Mithun try with Mozilla Firefox
    Downlod the Mozilla Firefox then install it and cheak what it's saying. If it's saying same things like your IE say then it's mean the message from your router. You have to Reset your Router. Cheak the reset button in your Router's back side. It's in inside a hole.

    I tried out what you said its still not working same error is post on to the browser (IE 8).

    Further I am attaching the screen shot of : ipconfig/all

    Did you tried typing your external IP on your browser ?

    Try to fiend out the Reset button of your Router.

    The reset button is a very small hole in the backside of your router (mostly). Inspect carefully and press it. Please note that you need to reconfigure the whole modem. If you are not confident, don't try.

    WA3002G4 The reset pinhole is at the bottom of the router, near the front-right leg.

    hiiiiiiii plz help me my computer show limited or no conectivity so plz help me
    and the light of modem (adsl) light red one is not bilk they is always kept blue it is not working

    In your browser address bar type this.
    Does a new window appear asking for modem id and PW?
    Feedback please.

    1.
    Select your modem/router and check your settings.
    BSNL BROADBAND MAIN MENU
    If not seen in above link give the details here.

    2
    If you are on "Dialer" mode RESET the modem to Factory settings and try again.
    You Have to enter UserID and Pw in your computer "dialer" window.
    3.
    Copy/Paste following data here.
    Start RUN type cmd OK
    New window
    Type ipconfig /all
