Default Strange BSNL
After lot of complaints from me, yesterday linemen changed something outside my home... After that I got cross connection...
Then today I again complained about it.... Phone started working correctly,
But my bb, ohhh.... now status page shows:
Downstream Line Rate 576 kbps
Upstream Line Rate 736 kbps

wtf....
Bullshit....

Then I said to lineman I will give him diwali bakshish... He agreed on coming home tomorrow....

I don't know what exactly problem is? Is my line is faulty or there is any port related problem?

And I have query if bsnl person change my port, so can my portal id also changes?

Your Portal Id wont change if Port is refreshed or changed.

I remember, your Line ATTN was very high and snr too low.
Any improvement now ? Probably your tariff is 256Kbps.
Always mention modem/model and make.
Ensure the line man uses/replaces a single cable without any joint/s
from the junction Box.

First off all you are having issues not others who are responding to your issues,

if you mention it over here it will be easy for the person who is responding to your issues do you think that everyone will go to your profile to check whats your modem make....?

Because we waste our time on asking question like modem? plan? etc... admin have created that option in profile, have you forgotten about it...
But if you want snr value, attn value then it is fine....

@Admin @moderators were trying to request users to post these data in their profile, so that it can appear automatically in our posts.
( modification to be done in V bulletin pending

The less info you give, the less response/s you will get !
Or a cryptic one liner " check your SNR"

Even with ten posts in a thread, many don't read the
thread from the beginning, and
reply to the last post as in "Antakshri" program !
There is real possibility that this thread
will divert to the " diwali bakshish" you mentioned !!!!!

Sumit020 Set your ADSL Mode to G.DMT if it's not set in this value.
Cheak your SNR value.

How to set it?
My modem setting page doesn't show any page for changing adsl mode..
My modem is ZTE ZXDSL 831AII.
