Rep Power: 0  |  Very Slow Dl speeds Hi, I am facing the following issues in the BSNL broadband: 1. The DL speed for torrents is only around 15kbps (avg) with max of 25-27kbs (at some times). 2. I also get the message of the connection not properly formed (A yellow icon on UTorrent status bar) I am under 256 Unlimited plan. Is there anyway I can substantially increase the DL speeds. I read here that many people are getting 100-150+ speeds, I wonder if that could be achievable. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks and Happy Diwali, Ps: I am not sure, if the port is forwarded (using a random port of 44000), as I just could not understand the concepts to do that. |

Rep Power: 1 | Happy Diwali. Please mention your modem - model and make Try TCP/IP optimizer from speedguide.net. Also try port forwarding. |

Rep Power: 3 | Remember,1 Byte=8bits For kiloByte per second we type KBps For kilobit per second we type Kbps U r on UL plan so u will get max speed of 256Kbps=32KBps. we get 100-150 KBps speeds because i am on limited plan. because u get 15 KBps try tcp optimizer. |
