Thread: Some websites not opeing using BSNL Broadband connection

I am getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message while opening couple of website like "Bajajallianz.com" or "Online services" links on "bangaloretlecom.com" Though I can open these websies on my laptop using airtel braodband or my office internet and bsnl netone (dial-up) internet, so nothing wrong with my laptop and modem. I complained to bsnl but they are not being able to resolve instead saying something wrong with my laptop.

Please do let me know if you are also facing similar problem and how to resolve the same.

I have bsnl broadband connection in Bangalore, Vimanpura area.

Try using Open DNS or Comodo Secure DNS.

1.my laptop using airtel braodband ............ OK modem1 VPI/VCI 1 and 32

2.mylaptop)my office internet ................. OK office modem2 set to Office ISP Bsnl ?

3my laptop(bsnl netone (dial-up) internet.....OK dialup uses 56K dialup FAX/Voice modem

Option 1: Try opendns in TCP/IP properties of laptop.
Option 2: Mention adsl modem/make /model Check MTU is set to 1492.
Option 3 :Use DrTCP to set MTU ( not for Vista OS)
DRTCP: How do I use it, & what are all these settings?
