    Angry BSNL broadband combo 500 service

    I am using BSNL combo 500 from one & a half month, initially i was getting speed around 1.8Mbps with no disconnection. But, from last 2 weeks, i am badly suffering from low downloading speed (300kbps-600kbps) with frequent disconnections. (low SNR margin & high line attenuation)

    I make complaint about this problem @12678 and they tell me that they will send lineman to our house, and they send but of no use. The lineman checks the whole cable and said that there is no fault & he cant do anything.

    Then i make a written complaint & gives the whole description but now no one is responding. No one is picking up my phone. No call back from them.

    What should i do?

    Can i complaint to higher authorities or just wait around for their response.

    Did you get any letter telling you about any work in your area or network upgrade or something from your ISP?
    Is there any fair usage policy due to which your speed might have been reducing due to the amount of usage?
    Did you change anything at your end when you experienced this change in speed?

    A written complaint with receipt to Nodal officer and Appellate authority. Address and phone no on the backside of your bill.

    No, there is nothing happening like this. Other BSNL subscribers in the locality are getting speed near 1.6Mbps-1.8Mbps.

    Is there any fair usage policy due to which your speed might have been reducing due to the amount of usage?
    I am using BSNL 500 combo with night UL so, there is no fair usage poilcy. Sometimes in the evening the speed might reach upto 2Mbps but is not stable & only remains for 30-60 min.

    Did you change anything at your end when you experienced this change in speed?
    No, there is nothing changed.

    The same thing happening with me...... I'm thinking about disconnecting.....

    ^^^

    If your problems are no rectified or not attended you can always opt for other isp's in this regard airtel is best but bit expensive.

    Default problem with bsnl

    same thing happened to me......but i complaint to the bsnl....they also sent linemen to my home....but he proved of no use so i complaint to the higher authority ie SDO 3 to 4 times then i got my broadband right...
    but even today i sometime face problem...
