    Default bsnl broadband config in dlink dsl 2640 t

    anyone please help me i have recently bought a dlink dsl 2640t wireless router.i have used config wizard to set up my dataone broadband connection .
    i am able to surf the net at regular speed but the problem starts when i use torrent client like utorrent to download torrents the speed is very low upload speed is good (35 kb/sec) but download speed is somewhat near 25 or sometime it comes down to 5 KB/sec.
    i am using 500c plan of bsnl n i used to get around 250 KB/sec of speed in utorrent using my previous modem of dlink glb 502 t...
    sir also i want to make u clear forwaded the ports in my new router..
    sir please help me if some other settings i have to do...please help me .....

    Do not use download managers.
    For your specific modem/router
    see portforward.com.

    thank u for help.....but i have already said u that i have my ports forwarded properly...
    inspite of this i m getting slow speed..

    Try TCP/IP optimizer application from
    speedguide.net.
    Check your Torrents D/L manager settings.
    Check speed direct in above website.
    2 servers.
