    Default Blocking Internet connection

Hi friends...just help me a little with my router.

I am using DNA-A211-I router...Its wi-fi router with 4 LAN ports in it. I have another system of my friend Placed on 2nd floor of our appartment.

I use net via wi-fi. what we did is we placed a wire from his LAN card (his PC) on to my router. now he can use my net when router is turned ON.

    I need to disable it.

how do i do this ?
In router page there is option to disable it, but dont know who to place the values.
here are the screen shots...it allows us to block traffic using IP address and MAc Address.

plz guide me..i want to block it on MAC ID basis...

here is the screen shot when i click on MAC Filtering

    and
here is the One when i click on ADD in above screen.

some text was cut in above...here it is
Create a filter to identify the MAC layer frames by specifying at least one condition below. If multiple conditions are specified, all of them take effect. Click "Apply" to save and activate the filter.

    in Protocol options we have

    PPOE
    Ipv6
    IPv4
    AppleTalk
    IPX
    NetBEUI
    IGMP

Dear just be to the point you are saying that he has his own net connection so he is not in need of yours and you dont want him to use yours ok then whats the hassle if you just unplug the RJ45 cable of your friend from your router, i didnt ask you to fully remove the cable.

Are you sharing data with you friend...?

Ok type II routers have 4 Ethernet Ports so you dont want them to be unplugged... then why dont you get some more RJ45 cables and plug it on your router utilizing it to the maximum

I too do not understand the problem fully.

Why not just pull the port out of the router?

Otherwise, you can block the MAC Address from your router. But know that there are softwares available that can spoof/change the MAC address.

i did not get what u mean by this.

my frnds PC has 2 lan card. one he uses for his own net and other for our LAN
from his 2nd lan card we had a wire...which ends into one of the 4 lan ports.

and thus he gets my net by default.....cauz he too is in LAN.
