Default BSNL 500c+ Vs BSNL 750Plus unlimited Home Plan

Since 15th October, I am suddenly found my usage abandonly increases and the time it shows does not at all match with my actual browsing. within 6 days it crosses 6000mb. I lodged a complain only on 19th idem and with fear I apply for immeiate change my scheme to 750 plus, which they effectively change w.e.f. 21st October.
But typically since 21st October, my download speed decreases to 5/10 kbps from 50-125kbps and make me again helpless.
I also came to know from a reliable source that under 500c plan, due to their clock problem (8 hours back), whatever, I browse under night unlimited, added to my usage.
Can anyone help to give some detail what actually I am loosing under this typical unlimited plan or shall I go back to 500+ or 600+ plan.
I normally download heavyly since long.
    With regards

Just give a written complaint and also request for changing their plan
If they have not said that problem before you move to 750plan you can even give a complaint in court too.

Do you have a wireless router?

If so, I would shut it down and use wired ethernet only for a month to test your actual usage.

Talk to the Senior Divisional Engineer (SDE) and request him to check the Mac ID. If the usage is not through your modem, your Mac ID won't be there. You can prove it easily.

Go to data.bsnl.in, under my orders, enter the telephone no in the prescribed format and check for plan status - Provisioned and effective date.

Do you have a wifi router ? If so, secure the connection using a password. To avail night unlimited, you need to switch off and ON your modem a little after 2.00 am and a little before 8.00 am.

Hope this helped. If in doubt, please ask.

Total usage as shown and billed will vary slightly. Probable they adjust for free mail allowance and will give final bill. I am not sure. Last month I had changed from 500c + to 750 unlimited plus. Unfotunately the down load speed is so low, i is impossible to down load windows software like ubuntu etc. It take days to down load. In 500 Home Plus there is free unlimited from 2.0 AM to 8.0AM at 2MB speed. Usual you can down load 1699 kbs to 200kbs even though it is supposed to be 256 kbs.
