I was asking for Signal to noise Ratio(SNR) value
you were able to get them and posted some results here
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...tml#post254229 (Average speed in BSNL Broadband 500 c plane)
Continuation of that the Download and upload speed values are also given by bsnl
like 2048 and 450 etc
SNR (Downstream) 42.5 dB
SNR (Upstream) 23.5 dB

dude....listen to me..no matter what we do , no one except BSNL can solve your problem of getting 200+ KBps speed. the only thing members here can do is to check your SNR values , check how your phone is connected with splitter , port forwarding etc etc...and nothing else. so if u are keeping any hopes like doing something in router or windows will increase your speed then its waste of your time.

![]()
I'm getting 220 KBps in IDM & 170 KBps in uTorrent.
i too get good speed but damn frequent disconnection iam unable to download mediafire links![]()
never use the bsnl speed test site , its never accurate.. speedtest.net is a better place to check
220 KB/s almost...........
Never trust Speedtest.net, I got more than 9Mbps Speed on my 600Kbps Unlimited many times but my downloading Speed is always average 70 to 75Kilobytes per second, I stopped testing at that site long time back, check out this and never trust that Speedtest.net results, that's crap site not reliable.

Mention your modem/model/make/number.
If you know uncheck Annex M in modem dsl menu page. SAVE reboot wait for 2 minutes.
Recheck speed .
Speed test using less Bandwidth:
My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
will create a record everytime you test.
Mini speedtest site:http://speedtest.gorge.net/speed/
What he means is: "Click on Port Statistics" then that will actually be a help for us to see.
By the way, I don't see many people talking about their synch or connection speeds in this forum, is this not as common to do?
For others who are having problems getting into your DSL router, I have some help guides if you need them, just let me know your modem.
@adslgeek
Please advise
@mann.jatt
how to reduce the U/L speed sync in the modem. Usually for Adsl d/l:u/l 4:1
mine : Airtel upto 2 Mbps
2.
Please see this link, and would appreciate a post on similar lines about modems manuals.
This link ALMOST covers ALL the OLD/PRESENT modems/routers supplied by BSNL/AIRTEL
