    Exclamation wifi ports not opening !

    hello people,

    I am using Bsml DNA A211 Router for a month now and i could not figure out how to forward ports for wifi .

    As i said above i am able to forward ports but they only work on my cable [lan] connection but when I m on my laptop[wifi] and i try to open ports i could not .

    Please some one help me out in this issue

    yes i havw seen messeage and i have successfully forwarded my ports but cant get it to work in wifi connection that is in my laptop and its working in my pc which is connected to same router through lan

    Confirm How you connect ?
    ""Dialer" mode or "Always On" mode ?
    Since you say you can make entries for PF
    should be in "Always On" mode.
    In this router there is no other setting/s
    for PF in Wireless section.

    If any, give reference screen shot, in my link given earlier.
    or load here afresh.

    2.
    Are you talking about a single laptop
    or two systems desktop and Laptop
    COPY/PASTE data here:
    ipconfig /all

    3. Have you done any Software UPGrade for DNA A 211-I?
    any other problems encountered ?

    Appears your OS is VISTA.
    In TCP/IP disable IPV6
    Properties
    Select Obtain IP address automatically.
    IN DNS enter 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
    Apply Save.
    Recheck ipconfig /all

    Both Desktop(lan mode) and Laptop(wifi) should work.
    Whichever Ports forwarded in Modem will be common to both.

    As u said i disabled IPv6 and in IPv4 i changed the settings as told
    but still its not working ...

    Start/Network/ LAN and WLAN
    Properties
    Network settings
    TCP/IP
    properties
    Select Obtain Ip address automatically.
    Enter DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
    Apply same.
    This is done for both LAN and WLAN connection.

    Also in Modem Router
    Uncheck obtain DNS automatically.
    Enter above details. ( see under Advanced options DNS menu )
    Repost Ipconfig /all
    I find no change in your latest report.

    is u r problem solved ? i also use same modem and i have done it with out any issues...let me know..so that i can post a guide here...
