    Default DNA A211 modem problem

All the lights of my DNA A211 i modem turn off for a second and then again turn on. This occurs very frequently. Here are the few statistics of my modem:

If posting the whole screenshot does not compromise my security, i can post the whole screenshot, please let me know, as i don't have that much technical knowledge of all this stuff, what i know is that SNR seems quite good here. I will contact BSNL guys tommorrow asking the cause of this problem.

What is the normal atteunation value?
I have installed a new lan card, but rule it out, as if i remove the ethernet cable connecting modem to pc, the lights still turn off frequently
Is this the problem at BSNL end or mine, its the basic query in my mind
The names printed under each light on modem are ethernet, pwr, inet, dsl, wlan, they all turn off at once and turn on again after a second
quite stable from past few minutes, about 5-6 minutes

Check your power point for any suspect loose contact. When i had the same router the power pin socket was loose which created the same problem if it was touched.

Power fluctuation may too can cause this problem.

ITI-DNA-A211-I modem has been reported Buggy, a software upgrade is available upgrade recommended.

    DNA-A211-I Software Upgrade

No further screen shots are required for the above said problem.

SNR and Attenuation values have nothing to do with this problem as power LED is also going OFF.

no the adapter light is glowing continually without any turn offs
now its been stable for 10 minutes, major change that i noticed is superframes, both downstream and upstream have increased drastically earlier 1179 now 64141 (downstream) same with upstream
I have BSNL's iptv installed, will the software upgrade affect iptv's functioning, i mean its safe right?

the pwr LED going off means means what, adapter LED has nothing to do.

No software upgrade wont effect your IPTV functioning and its safe.

i am also using the same router first check power adapter for the router i.e connecting point to the router. then the connecting point is fitting to the router tightly or loosely. if it connects tightly then there is no problem with your power adapter may be problem with your router inside. then take it to the your area bsnl branch office ( router and power adapter with you) show to them and explain them. tell them to change if it is warranty period if you purchased unless it is in rental then no problem they will change it immediately. best of luck
