    Default Trouble shooting tips

If you facing no internet through your router try the following steps.

    1. Connect the computer directly to the modem and if you are able to connect to internet then contact ISP.
    2. Reconnect the router and modem.
    3. Check ip adress if its dynamic then check the MAC spoofing.
4.If not, check username and password.

Try these basic troubleshooting steps always before you get down and start calling BSNL.

Thanks sandra for those tips. I totally agree with you that we should all know these basic troubleshooting tips. I would like to add one last troubleshooting step which is to check out interent properties settings. Go in to IE>tools>internet options>security>make sure its at default. and also go in connections tab>and check if radio buttons are not being greyed out then the dial-up connection is being used.
