Thumbs up Router + Wifi Combo Bsnl

I disconnected tataindicom and took bsnl 256 UL connection. Since tata guys dint take back the "billion router(type1)" , i was using that for my BSNL also. Yday Tata guys atlast came and took back the router!!!

Yes, now i need to buy a new router. Also i was planning to buy a wifi router so that i can use net anywhere in my house with my laptop.

Ok what i need is to buy a router which can act as wireless router also (should work with my bsnl connection). So which is best deal i can get (minimum cost but good performance)???

Go for Router Provided by BSNL on Rent Basis. if you face any problem with router you can get another one for free. if that free router has got any problem , then again you can return that and can get a new router for free.

I have changed my router twice so far.

Check Modem Rents on BSNL web site. they have mentioned it clearly.

You need a Type II router.

Better stick to BSNL provided routers as they will cost you less compared to the ones available in market. Since, BSNL provided wifi routers work on 802.11g, if you don't need too much of range(say a 2 floor house) then BSNL provided routers are really good. But if you need greater range, you'll need to consider the ones that come with 802.11n draft. (all sorts of N series routers instead of G)

don't opt modem on rental basis, if u r about to use broadband for years... opt it on rental basis only if u are a temporary user( may be few months ) ...:nono:

    type 2 is a good choice... has 4 LAN and 1 WiFi...:cool2:

<<< 20 MONTH MODEM RENTAL IS THE COST OF TYPE 2 AND TYPE 4 MODEMS >>

    price : Rs.1600

for details on modem follow the link below :
