    Default Serious problem guys !

    TODAY MORNING I CHECKED MY DOWNSTREAM LINE RATE THROUGH (DEVISE INFO 192.168.1.1) IT IS SHOWING ME AROUND 6000kbps AND I AM GETTING THE SPEED AROUND 235 KBPS IN TORRENTS I WENT TO COLLEGE CHECKED MY DOWNSTREAM LINE RATE IN AFTERNOON IT IS AROUND 1220 kbps !
    WAT HAPPENED GUYS !
    I SELECTED G.DMT IN DSL MODULATION !
    BUT OF NO USE !
    SHOULD I GO TO BSNL EXCHANGE PERSONALLY AND ASK THEM TO INCREASE MY DOWNSTREAM LINE RATE !
    PLS HELP ME HERE IS THE SCR SHOT............


    NOW AFTER CERTAIN OBSERVATION I FIGURES OUT THAT WHEN I PLUGEED OUT MY LANDLINE THE DOWN STREAM RATE GOES BACK TO AROUND 6000 !

    HERE IS THE SCREEN SHOT WHEN LAND LINE IS NOT CONNECTED !
    NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO !
    SHOULD I JOINT A SPLITTER BETWEEN MAIN LINE AND LANDLINE!
    LANDLINE IS ON GROUND FLOOR AND MY COMP AMD MODEM IS ON FIRST FLOOR !

    UPDATE - SPLITTER BETWEEN MAIN LINE AND LANDLINE OF NO USE WHEN PHONE PLUGGED IN DOWNSTREAM LINE RATE 1700 KBPS

    Are you studying in college at the age of 10 ?
    If Speed is fine, without any Telephone in use /or connected
    bypass the splitter.
    check the adsl splitter .
    Blocks ADSL data signal entering Telephone .
    A telephone is to be connected to avoid surges .
    ( a Voltage of 40 to 60 V= is present in the line )

    i am getting error messages 404 permission denied while opening your jpg image !
    plz describe me in little easy way so that i can understand !
    well o am 20 ad i am student of imformation technology !

    Always mention your modem model /make when starting a thread.

    Correct in Profile :age now shown on left as 10 ! also include modem details.
