Default How can I configure Beetel 450 TC1 (ADSL2+router2) for BSNL internet connection?

    Hi
I have an old router+adsl from airtel. Can I use the same router for BSNL connection.
Do I need to change or update any firmware of software for this?

    Thanks

    1.
If you are on "Dialer" mode
just type userId PW for BSNL
and try. You may get connected !
    2.
    If Not
    Access 192.168.1.1
ID : admin PW: password or admin
and select vpi/vci 0 and 35 for Bsnl
    ( airtel will be 1 and 32 )
    rest settings as usual .
    3.
    FEEDback .
    4.
REF: compare modem menu pages .
    could be same. Confirm.

    1.
"Dialer" mode: ("Bridged" button in WAN page )
You enter in a "Dialer" window
given bsnl UserId and password. SET ONE
( No telephone number is entered )
then you get connected to Internet

    PPPoE DIALER INSTALLATION

    2.
"Always On" ( * /PPPoE button in wan page)
UserID/PW are entered in modem itself.
Moment you switch on system/modem, internet is connected.

    3.
Also get a 14digit alphanumeric ID
    from JTO SET TWO
to check change of plan, change of password /usage etc
    at BSNL Portal website.
    4.
If you are interested in having an Email Id with

    0. Read all post regarding 450tc1 from essbebe. (Most imp).

    1. Hard reset your router by pushing some pin at backside of router.
    2. open 192.168.1.1 from internet explorer
    3. Username: Admin
    Password: password
    4. Go to Interface setup->Internet
    5. Click on PVC summary
    6. Check if any entry contain 0 35 entry, select it. and Delete.
    7. Create new 0 35 entry for pvc0.
    8. Put username/ password in Subscriber name.

Unhappy bsnl broadband set up with BEETEL 450BX1/450TC1

I tried to set up myself the new bsnl broadband connection BEETEL 450BX1/450TC1.

Here are 2 problems i am facing.
    1) when i changed VPI/VCI settings to 0 and 35 resp, and fill all other details,
and hit save button, an error message came as 'not able to save because of duplicate settings of VPI/VCI'

    2) when i changes VPI/VCI to 1 and 35 i was able to save but when i tried to open google home page after rebooting, it displayed error as YOUR ADSL is down and check the connections"

ALso when i called BSNL people, they said that this modem BEETEL 450BX1/450TC1 will not work for BSNL as it is has some low frequency...

Guys can you help me on this?

Please check here. Confirm same modem pages

You can delete all VPI/VCI entries
except 0 and 35 and give values.

DNS try open dns 208.67.220.220 and google 8.8.8.8

Your old router also same . may be
    220BX1
    confirm .
    feedback.

Unhappy Still not able to set up

    HI All,

I tried to follow the instructions given all URL releated to this topic but no success

I tried attaching some snaps of setting and modem settings. but dont know how to attach?

My Modem info card/brouchere say they have some 'default settings' as follows:
    for PVC0 VPI 1 VCI 32
    PVC1 VPI 0 VCI 32
    PVC2 VPI 0 VCI 35

I tried to set up my modem with deactivating PVC0 and PVC1 with PVC2 only active and tried to open google its showed 'YOUR ADSL IS DOWN and Please check CONNECTIONS'

Then i tried with deactivating PVC2 and changed setting of PVC0 to VPI 0 and VCI 35, I hit again same message saying your ADSL is down.

My LED on DSL/internet on modem is blinking and not steady.... so I am really getting confused what to do? is the line is down?

I tried all setting by reseting the modem to default settings but no sucesss?

and I am getting info from BSNL saying that this modem is not compatible with BSNL?

Can anybody guide me step by step?

    with modem connected to computer.
    ( factory settings restored)
    2.
Now use a dialer in computer and enter your userId and PW.
    3.
get connected or get an error message ?
    4.

No problem. will wait for feedback.

    Option 1:; Dialer Mode 'Bridged"
You have to set up a PPPoE Dialer external to the modem.
In WAN page option " Bridged' is selected.

    Option 2 :
    See the link given
Your USERID ( without @ bsnl.in ) and password entered in WAN page.
Earlier select PPPoE instead of "Bridged" box

    for ipconfig /all details :
    you can use copy/paste method.

Modem/routers will work. 450BX1( same as wa 3002-g4 and
    450TCI ( I will check and confirm later. )

    For creating a Dialer;

You line dont have ADSL signal or you connect in wrong way.
If your Broadbad line is new then your exchange dont setup your line with DSLAM yet. Until your DSL Led is being still you cannot get access to ISP. You dont need to delete or disable the entry of VPI/VCI.
Just set up the entry PVC2 VPI 0 VCI 35 bridge mode or PPPoE mode.
You dont have to delete the other entry and you have to wait until your Line have the ADSL signal.
When your DSL Led stop blinking and get still then you know that you have ADSL signal on your line.
