Default Are we getting the full download speed while uploading?

I mean when we download torrents we are also uploading it.Can we get the max download speed and max upload speed at same time? If we are seeding and leeching same time can we get max speed for both.?
I have doubts in this case so i used to put the upload speed lowest as possible. Now i need to seed some torrents if i put max upload speed will it affect my download speed..?

You can upload at maximum rate while you are download at full speed. They are like 4 lane road.

yes dear....consider your bandwidth as 2 seperate pipes, 1 for upload and 2nd for download. and they dont have any connection with each other.

Exception : on torrents, trackers have a system so that if you cap your uplaod spead, your download speed will also reduce. so best way is to never cap uplaod / download speed.

I am getting just the opposite.I reduce the upload speed to 1KB/s and my download speed goes to ~180KB/s but if I set the upload speed as unlimited my download speed comes down to 20-30KB/s, this happens in both public and private tracker.

Strange !!!. I hope you have only 1 active torrent in BitComet or any torrent client you use.

There 3 cases.
1. You are using Private tracker torrents like DT or Bwt
2. You are using Public Tracker torrents like mininova.org
3. You are using both.

For Private tracker, your ratio matters and now what upload speed cap you have set for that torrent.
For Public tracker , if you cap upload speed, download speed will also reduce.

To experiment what i said, use only 1 torrent from any either public or private and keep only 1 active torrent , rest disabled.

In my case my download speed increases if I set upload speed to 1 KB/s i.e. minimum irrespective of private or public.
Since last 2-3 months I am researching to solve this problem , yet to get any solution of this mystery.

If you have uncapped uploads and downloads and keep torrents running you will see extremely high latency and packet losses.

Pretty sure this happens to everyone, it's not that hard to test. Not sure why; possibly BSNL throttles bandwidth when they see you are using a lot of it.
