Thread: settings for LAN

hey guys i have a problem.
i am using a ut starcom adsl router wa3002-g1.
earlier i was not able to connect through wi fi but it worked fine in LAN
then i went to 192.168.1.1 and changed everything to default settings.
now i am able to connect through wi fi but unable to connect through LAN
my LAN dial up is showing error 678.
what to do to rectify this?

Might be you have configured your modem in PPPoE Mode (that is always on, user id n password is stored in modem itself) in this mode you dont have to use a dialer to get connected to internet its already connected.

you might have used a dialer to connect which resulted in this

when you switch on your modem, if all LEDs become stable that means you are connected just open browser and try whether you can browse or not.
