Cannot connect to any site!

Exclamation Cannot connect to any site!

i was browsing without any problem and now i just cant connect to any site! this is the first time am experiencing such a problem. my connected just stopped some hours back. tried rebooting the modem and connecting several times, but no use.

am from kerala. is anyone facing the same problem

1. May be a port problem. Check with your local exchange

2. Try Open DNS

3. Switch between PPPoE and Bridge mode.

tried open dns, pppoe and bridge. no good

am i the only one facing this problem?

Call CC and confrm BB s working.
copy/paste data here
Start run type cmd Ok
New window
typeipconfg /all

Mention your modem model/make in all posts.
Presume telephone line is working.

Did you checked with the local exchange? May be others are also not able to connect. Check your telephone line is working or not. Something similar happened to me. They changed the port and it is working fine.

i can connect to the net using bridge mode but its not connecting to any sites

modem: ur300r2u

telephone line is working fine



i havent checked with exchange yet

type ipconfig /all

Re check in Diagnostics page. for FAIL Items.

How about your ping response ?

If your exchange concerned is not having any technical breakdown then it wight be an issue with you Port in exchange.

This happened to me long back and problem was because of a Trojan horse which used to change DNS no matter to what i set it.
So i scanned lappy with avast boot time + Spy Bot Search and destroy and problem was solved,

lol... its working now. didnt do anything and its ok now. may be some problems with the exchange.
