    Default is snr margin meant to be variable?

    my snr margin values change every second is it normal or i have a problem with my line?

    mention your modem model and make.
    Post snr attn line rate speed data
    for both D/L and U/L
    and mod mode selected.

    yes the values keep on changing. unless there is a huge decrease and any other accompanying problem like disconnection, there is no problem.

    it is perhaps an indication that your service wire coming from cable cabinet / Pillar /DP, to your home might be having joints that become rusty.
    otherwise if you have some telephones wired before the splitter, similar things happen. A

    fter ensuring that the additional phones if any are shifted to - after the splitter - you may better take up with local JTO for stabilizing the copper cable pair and service lead.
