Go to your Router GUI Web page, cheak the Download Rate and Upload Rate
Should be 2048Kbps for Download or higher and 256Kbps for Upload or higher then it
If the speed are slow then set your ADSL Router to G.DMT mode.

5.Are you using both Desktop and Laptop at the same time ?
Reference to August was not needed as it applies to Desktop.
    6
Confirm Desktop there is no speed drop.
and No System Restore is needed.

    7.( check speed again with
    (a)Desktop Lan mode. _D/L __________U/L____________
    (b) laptop Lan mode D/L_________ _U/L____________-
    (c) laptop Wifi mode. D/L___________U/L ___________

    Reference :
Your modem/router/wifi appears to be same as wa3002-g4
confirm all modem menu pages are similar.
    See this link .
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (UTSTAR WA3002-G4 quick reference)

    Speed I get now

    Speed I used to get

The speed is reduced because BSNL has now reduced my download data rate to 2048 kbps and upload data rate to 509 kbps. Before this it was more.

    @vijaykhairnar
    Please mention modem/model/make and
post screen shot of Adsl data.
Try GDMT or ADSL2 or ADSL2+ mod modes.

Set your router to G.DMT mode

There must be wiring problem in your local area. I faced this problem as I have BSNL 256 Kbps Connection which gives me very good output the speed is among 1.67 to 2.00 Mbps and the download speed is 115 Kbps to 150 Kbps the problem started after one month. I was getting too slow speed even I am not able to download 2 Mb mail then i contact to my local BSNL Exchange and you know BSNL ppl wont give you the satisfy reply as usal but after Convincing them they are ready to check the wire in my local area and found that the wire is cut from several places after fixing that I got my speed back ...

so what, can you then explain me how on a 256Kbps connection i,e UL750 or may be UL 750+ , you get download speed of 15 Kbps to 150 Kbps ?
According to me you cant get more than 256/8 = 32Kbps download speed. Max you can get is 35Kbps
