    Default Speed exceeding existing Bandwidth?

Hi,I am using home combo unlimited plan (256kBps).I have heard that my max. downloading speed or uploading speed can be 32 kbps and cannot exceed this by this plan. But usually when I am downloading a movie using utorrent ,my combined upload+download speeds cross well over this mark.
e.g.-- download speed-22-28kbps and up speed-20-25kbps at the same time. How is this possible

Both upload and download are two different channels. They are not related.
