Default Check Data Transfer Usage in Windows 7

Hi all,
Changing to Windows 7 recently, I ran into the problem of how to check data usage, which was simple and intuitive in Windows XP. Clicking on the blinking Computer Icons pops up to show the usage, but I wasn't able to find such feature in Windows 7. Please help me out.

Thank you.

here is how you find it and this is typical problem of users who dont explore options. win7 has all the things you need and which was in XP.
check the screen shot and no need to use 3rd party applications of simple tasks.

u need to right click on the option you see. so that a small menu as shown in image opens up. then click SELECT
