Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser, ID and password is admin. Take the internet connection page. Browse through the pages. There you will find an option to select between Bridge and PPPoE mode.

Is that all i have to do..Click on the drop down and change PPPoE to Bridge...
I tried changing it but was unable to go online after that..I have a Huawei Quidway 1003A modem.

After switching to bridge mode, you need to create a dialler and connect to internet.

    Procedure :

Control panel > Network connections > create a new connection > Next > Connect to internet > Set up my connection manually > Connect using a broadband connection that requires User name and password >
