Default Wifi connectivity issues with smartphones

    Hi Guys,

I'm using the UStarcom WA3002G4 wireless router. I have my laptop connected wireless with this router. Now, when I try to connect my wifi enabled smartphone, it shows me the SSID but doesn't actually connect...It shows "connecting" for a while & then suddenly shows "Available". Can someday shed light as to what the issue is? I don't think this has something to do with the phone as I can connect to other wifi stations & access internet... I'm frustrated by searching sites over the internet...

I'm using a WPA-PSK (TKIP) combination....Tried the same passkey as for my laptop, but unsucessful....

    Can somebody crack this case??

    Thanks!!

    Not needed.
Copy/paste this data ( NO EDIT)
    Laptop WLAN settings.
    Start/Network/ show all connections
    Select WLAN
    properties
    WLAN network settings
    TCP/IP
    properties
    Obtain Ip address automatically.
    Apply Save.

    3. Same page on top your WLAN card is listed.
    Click box configure advanced.
    TRY AdhocG

Whoa!!! Hold on!!! First I can see the network name on my smartphone. I have to check if it is DHCP enabled...As far as the settings are concerned, I think this is for Windows XP...but I have Vista on my Laptop, so any ideas how to go about the same...Also, will my laptop face any connectivity issues if any do some changes in the settings.. I simply want to share my wifi connection with my smartphone....
