i am using wifi router which is next to my laptop. its very good and speed of wifi is 54mbps.

Now , as our connection speed will be max 2Mbps so no need to worry. the only point when you might experience low speed is if you are far far away from router. i,e outside the router range. in that case you will get low speeds on laptop.

i have my router in hall and i use net in my bedroom with doors closed. in this case i get 10mbps speed. and again as i use internet connection of 256 Kbps , so i dont need to bother. cauz whenever i download anything i get 32Kbps speed.

so if you ask me..then i am happy with wifi as i have privacy and mobility
