    Default BSNL broadband frequent disconnection

    Hi Friends,

    I have been a BSNL broadband customer from Oct-2009 and I am using Nokia Siemens 1600 Modem There is no parallel connection / internal wiring issue and also the splitter is connected properly. I am experiencing frequent disconnection problem. Normally SNR margin is between 22 – 24 and suddenly is going to 0 and net disconnects. I have complained the issue to BSNL guys and they checked the line from exchange and saying that every thins is ok.
    Please help me to resolve this issue.

    -Senthil.

    Fluctuations in SNR margin is an indication that there is problem with your line get it rechecked, how long are you facing this problem...?

    Default SNR is ok most of the time

    I have been facing this issue for past one month. SNR is around 24 normally. Once in 15 minutes it is going to 0 suddenly. And also I observed that when I making phone calls it changing to 20. There is no noise in phone when making voice calls.

    your phone line is definite to have lose connection. Talk to the section JTO and request for a clean up action to improve the stability. then it would improve.

    @vogaldas, same methodology.

    I have complained many times to BSNL about the issue.But they are checking the line parameteres from exchange and saying every this ok.

    ADSL2 is enabled in the modem.But modem always connects as GDMT.
    Do i need to remove the ADSL2 in the settings.
