Thread: Unable to add Telephone# in portal.bsnl.in

    I agree with you essbebe that selfcare has features such as
    submit complaints.
    status check of complaints
    service request
    check my bills
    update profile
    new phone connection
    change broadband password
    check broadband bill usage
    check broadband unbilled usage.

    But my concern is to PAY BILL ONLINE there is no option in selfcare to pay bill in selfcare we can check the bill but we can't pay from the website.we can pay only in portal.bsnl.in website for HYD customer.I have even registered in portal.bsnl.in website but not able to add my bsnl telephone# to pay bills that is my overall concern.

    Only way I can test is trying your
    VAS portal ID and password in my system/different combinations.
    You can PM these and later you, can change the Password. I will try only after 9 P.M.

    check my bills
    could you check the telphone bills in Selfcare portal ?

    Para two:
    "Online payment" opens another secure site
    in the same VAS network. ( Main BSNL common
    web page)
    asking you details of internet banking/ credit/debit card etc..


    Para three:
    For ECS: Once standing instructions are given, it is automatically debited
    from your acct every month.
    I opted for ECS years back.
    I get the printed Bill
    and if any problem, /excess billing/
    I have to talk to the A.O. or go to nearest Exchange. ( The local .A.O checks in his/her computer the details)
    ( ECS debited on 30th or 31st of each month )
    If time is available they amend the Bill amount in the statement to RBI. Else following month excess payment ( if any ) is adjusted.

    Giving new Bill junction option.
    Need not Use quotes when the previous message is seen just above.
    Scrolling the page. is tiresome .
    2.
    Cannot log in at self care with Password given by you.

    In VAS ID PW accepted, but cannot enter code for HYD. .

    BSNL Portal || Value Added Services -- User Session
    Even I cannot add for CHENNAI ssi or std code.

    see here. Hyderabad users have no option. same for Chennai/Bangalore

    If you have a bank account you can try about registering for paying bills online through your bank account

    Unless you have no time at all to go and pay a bill, all these indirect methods are preventable. Searching for modern and indirect methods of payment appear like showing nose otherwise round, and permit me, i would call it part of fashion.

    Perhaps we have not reached a stage that we have no time left to do our own household works that include payments to services.

    If we see the legal clauses, while paying in e-seva etc, the parent org would not be responsible if the licensed org goes missing and still the customer need to again pay again to clear his arrears though paid.

    ECS ( No computer needed ) is not different to paying on line.
    and no worry of internet hacking your bank details/credit card details etc )
    A one time trip to the Bank, and submitting it to CC of your exchange is all that is required.
    BSNL gives 1% discount also on the bill.
    The transfer through RBI is effected only on the last day of the month.
    In case you are a "Doubting Thomas"
    open another account for this purpose
    keep minimum balance!
    Transfer the phone bill amount from present personal acct if correct,
    or amended amount by BSNL.

    ECS : no charge by bank/s. Rather they welcome it. Less paper work for them.
    2. Or drop the cheque in collection boxes , provided by BSNL! ( No receipt !)
    3. Last but not least, every month, draw the cash, engage an auto, go to BSNL office, stand in queue,
    ( if any ) pay the amount and get a receipt on the spot ! Have a cup of tea at their canteen also !.

    4.Also go the Bank . Fill up the forms, ( I think triplicate , attach cheque or cash and get a stamped copy.!

    My posts were mainly intended to pinpoint the software "BUG" Hyderabad telecom web site seems to have.

    Bill Junction: You have to pay service charges, and do the same ECS Mandate process through them. .

    Bank will not charge you a single penny.It's a service banks offer for free.but you need internet banking service offered by the bank.

    VAS website ( mostly for Phone related problems )
    Hyderabad VAS is confusing.
    In Chennai web site You log in with all details
    name/phone number userid password etc and there ends the matter.
    fast access : I could get all details about
    my Phone meter reading ( as on 15th Dec now ) etc.
    For telephone VAS only this web site accessed.
    No diversion. again to selfcare web site.
    Added problem for Hyderabad BB users>

    By the way usage meter does not record NU
    between 0200 AM and 0800 Am at data.bsnl.in
    Also times are broken up correctly at 0200 Am and 0800AM.
    Post your comments/observations in correct thread please.

    THis might be a silly question is there a way to check complaint status online once we raised any request in mis.bsnl.co.in ?However the request raised will be fixed by bsnl people by calling with in 3days.but just to know is there a link to check status. good to know info.

    Normally the All India Complaints cell calls the concerned
    circle or sends email or alerts in their computer network.
    The local tech staff are forced to call you on phone
    to enquire
    about the problem.! and solve it !
    I had good response within 24 hours for other
    problems related to forum complaints. !

    will update later. ( not tried )Usually if problem solved Ok.
    Else you can make a fresh complaint quoting the old socket number.

    i contacted the techinical person in hyderabad there and i got the soluiton. Its the phone number that we are putting in that column should be without STD code then it will be done.
