WA3002G4 is a modem and router. Either you will have to use PPPoE or Bridge both cant be used.

In bridge mode you can connect your mobile to your wifi network form your router but only after you dial a connection from your PC.

    WA3002-G4 is Adsl modem+router 4 lan + wifi
How you connect to Internet in Dialer mode or PPPoE
    does not make any difference.
Better , as suggested above ,to be in "AlwayOn" PPPoE Mode.

Then you can switch off computer Desktop ,
If you don't need . WIFI will be available.

For Instance for my Vonage VOIP
only Adsl modem+Vonage unit is Always on"PPPoE.
My laptop on Wifi mode with a wifi router
is used as and when when required.

i get it but i have switched to bridge mode since if i dont switch of ma modem before 8 in the moring i get some usage in ma bill . wid bridge mode if i switch off ma sytem before 8 the net gets disconnected and registers a session before 8 and here by i can switch of ma modem at after 8 too.

i could not get the scripts to automatically reboot ma modem working for pppoe mode tat easily . if u could help me wid the script or any other easy process for modem restart in pppoe mode it would be really helpfull.

    modem model wa3002g4
    AND
How to re-config the modem to run in PPPOE using

    "dialer" to connect.
In the wan page of the modem/router you see
    (a)"BRIDGED"
If selected , SAVE Reboot. wait for 2 minutes.
    To connect Use Dialer
and enter your userId and PW in computer window.
    (b)
and "PPPoE" : If selected you are directed to another page.
here you enter UserId and PW etc .
Presume now your modem connects automatically.

2.You have to create a dialer in computer.

In dialer, apart from typing username and password, do i need to change any settings like filling IP address and DNS..
In router config page, are any other changes to be made apart from selecting bridging connection.

I am using USB modem connection.so,is it possible to portforward .

Image tutorial will be very helpful.

You should check the links given.
    or follow the instructions
    in network connection wizard.
    Try and then ask questions.
