    Default wifi connection drop

    Modem: Utstar 300R2U
    Wireless Router: Linksys WRT160N

I'm having some strange problem with my wifi connection. Earlier I was using the wifi router in a room and moved it to the hall where the tv is placed and just below that, i placed the modem and router. I guess, since then, im unable to connect to internet immediately. i had to switch off and on the modem/router for few times and re-enter the password.

But then, I checked in this post, 18344-connection-drops-wifi . html (I couldnt post the url as of now), not to place the router near to tv.

So, just thought moving it bit away from the tv and it got connected!! I'm not sure did that really work or is there someother problem. though currently it has connected. Let me know, if any of you have had this problem.

Also checked the SNR and other details of the modem.

    Item Downstream Upstream Unit
    SNR Margin 32.0db 20.0db dB
    Line Attenuation 13.0db 4.0db dB
    Loss of Signal 0 0
    CRC Errors 2 0
Data Rate 2048 Kbps 512 Kbps kbps
    Latency Fast Fast
