    Default BSNL dns are fastest in the benchmarks!!!!

    hi friends, i just tried different benchmarks with different dns and concluded bsnl dns are much faster,

    61.1.69.96
    61.1.69.71


    Here are the results

    No doubt it would be quicker but the problem is that at peak times Bsnl's server are not able to accomodate the amount of requests they get and that causes delays which are too long.
    Google's DNS on the other hand employs a newer artitecture that will make your web experience over time faster then if you were using other dns.

    Do we have any google Datacenter in India ?

    Reason is , if i am playing CS online on Indian server , with BSNL DNS , pings are low and hence good. however when i use OpenDNS or GoogleDNS , it goes high as datacenters are not located in India.

    Google has servers in India... Try to ping google.co.in and see what latency you get... Although if you do an ip look up it would say california but those servers are physically located within India.

    But still openDNS is much reliable and safe, because bsnl dns does not provide address translation for some sites i have tried.
