I am from Hyderabad. Using BSNL broadband since February '09. I was using Home 500 Combo but the 1.5 GB limit was too less for me and my bills for past 4 months were around 1000. This is mainly because of BSNL charging from 8.00 to 8.29 AM.
But I felt the need for 2.5 GB limit and wanted to change to Home 500 Combo PLUS. So I just picked up the phone and called up customer service (18004241600) and requested that my plan be changed. My plan was changed within 4 hours of my request. I had made the request yesterday night at 8 PM and I checked it at midnight and I was in new plan.
BSNL has improved a lot in the past few months. I am very happy to have chosen BSNL.
