Thread: Help with setting up wireless to my laptop

Hello everyone, I have a BSNL broadband connection. Had it for few months. I had been using internet on a desktop and a laptop. This was set up by the service guy. I recently bought a new laptop with windows 7 ultimate on it. I want to set up wireless on it too. I tried many ways but could not get it done.
I have UTStarcom WA3002G4 modem/router. Please can any1 guide me through the steps. When I contacted the service provider he asked me to connect the laptop to LAN and then in the internet protocol properties asked me type in ip address and some mask numbers etc... like 6 set of numbers. I tried that too. After having done that I see BB pop up and when I use the same I.D and password like i use them to get connected to other laptop, i don't get connected on this laptop. I need help badly. Icannot get the service guy becoz of the bund in Vijayawada.

make sure ur Wifi is on in laptop and then try.
