Default Connection drop every ~20-30MB during the day

Every 20-30 MB of usage, i see about 7-8 packet drops, then the connection picks up again i.e. a line drop.

During the night it's slightly better with maybe 1-2 packet drops (or very high response time and not an actual loss) every 20-30 MB.

I've tried multiple things like switching to G.Dmt, turning on bitswap, moving the modem far away from other appliances, opendns; but still this unreliability remains.

Is BSNL doing anything on their network, repairs perhaps ?
Also is there any way to even find out (like a forum or something) to get info about their network status ?

It never or barely happens during the night; so I doubt it's a line issue.
