Thread: Help in configuring port in c2110 router

I AM TRYING TO CONFIGURE PORT FORWARDING IN 192.168.1.1 ADDRESS. BUT Add New Port Forwarding Rule IN ROUTER ALL OF ITS LINK ARE DISABLED. PLEASE HELP ON HOW TO FORWARD PORT FOR BIT TORRENT. I AM ALSO TRYING TO CHANE MY IP TO STATIC IP BUT NOTHING HAPPENED. IF I WRONGLY SET UP STATIC IP OR SOMETHING ELSE PROBLEM. KINDLY DICTATE ME FRIENDS. AFTERNOON MY SPEED AUTOMATICALLY RAISE TO EVERYDAY 25KB/SEC to 150 KB/SEC. NOT Kb. AND WHEN LIGHT GONE AND I RESTART IT IT AGAIN COMES TO 25KB/SEC. I AM USING WELL SEEDED TORRENTS IN BIT TORRENT. EVERY SUGGESTION IS MOST WELCOME.HURRY PLEASE.

Change to Always On" PPPoE mode. Not Dialer"bridged" mode.

amitjmp01 if your C2110 firmware version is V55.1.04.10 and name with Nokia Siemens Network then the PORT FORWARDING and DMZ dose not work. This version of this firmware have the bug in this section. Use UPNP if your windows is XP then it will automatically configure with it and you have to set your lan IP to Obtain IP address Automatically and the DNS too.

LINK ARE DISABLED because you are using Bridge Mode. To enable this feture set up your CPE to PPPoE mode.
