    Bsnl usage portal data.bsnl.in now automatically stops/restarts/changeover at 0200AM and 0800AM. ( wef 16th dec 2009) Your NU data may not be shown now
    No fear of overcharging of D/L by mistake.

    @Keuekjon

    If you are not on ip address 59.xxx.xxx.xxx then there is no need to reboot router at specified time to enjoy NU, bsnl have upgraded their servers.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    You can find the file "BroadBand Scheduler.exe.config" in the default installation directory i.e, C:\Program Files\Broaband Scheduler v1.1\

    If you have installed the utility and cant find then just search of the same you will find the same.

    I think there is no need for you to reboot. Still to be on a safer side, try downloading between 7.50 and 8.20 am and check.

    If you are interested to find out what happened to your download after 2AM
    Copy paste in notepad.
    hxxp ://www.data.bsnl.in/wps/PA_SfCareUsageDetails/UsageRecords?accNo=12345678&UsgMnth=Dec-2009-Unbilled&serviceuserid=null
    1. replace your consumer number
    for 12345678.
    enter in address bar of browser. ( http for hxxp)
    Save the Excel file.
    see only start time will be visible scroll ===>>>>> for other columns and you will see end time and Night usage recorded.
    No need to log in at data.bsnl.in
    consumer number from telephone bill.

    When you post the given code with your consumer no you will initiate the download of excel file with usage details.

    I like users and asking questions, AFTER trying the suggestion/s given by members.
    If you had told "I entered the IP address in IE Browser address bar and then nothing happened," I would have appreciated it.
    With 1000 posts, to your credit, I thought I need not spell out further steps.
    Here is the explanation:
    1.Then when you Press "ENTER" key
    2.the web site page will open
    3Then you see a page full of data.
    .
    4Go to the bottom of the page.
    5 there you will find save as XL
    6click.
    7.YOUR usage data is saved hopefully, in your computer.
    etc.
    More required ?

    <section name="NetworkTimer.Properties.Settings" type="System.Configuration.ClientSettingsSection, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" allowExeDefinition="MachineToLocalUser" requirePermission="false" />
    </sectionGroup>
    </configSections>

    <NetworkTimer.Properties.Settings>
    <setting name="DailUpConnection" serializeAs="String">
    <value>dataone</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="NetworkConnectionsFolderName" serializeAs="String">
    <value>Network and Sharing Centre</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="NetworkConnetionName" serializeAs="String">
    <value>Local Area Connection</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="EnableVerbName" serializeAs="String">
    <value>En&amp;able</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="DisableVerbName" serializeAs="String">
    <value>Disa&amp;ble</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="DailUpConnectEnable" serializeAs="String">
    <value>C&amp;onnect</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="DailUpConnectDisable" serializeAs="String">
    <value>Disc&amp;onnect</value>
    </setting>

    .
    (a) i'm using Broadband Scheduler v1.1
    ..(b)bridging mode( * dialer Mode )
    ..... (c)windows 7.
    .........(d)it says "Network connections folder not found".

    (1)In XP Pro Sp3 these are the files.

    (2)Both open the Network settings page.
    1.Network Connections: control netconnections
    2.Network Connections: ncpa.cpl
    (3)
    From here we select LAN/WLAN/DIALER etc.

    (a) software is not part of Windows 7.

    Para two:
    WEF 15th Dec 2009
    for Bsnl users with @ bsnl.in usage
    portal automatically changes readings at 0200AM and 0800 AM
    even if modem is on.
    Recheck.

    Para three:
    Make a copy at convenient folder.
    www.windowstaskforce.com/view/57

    Problem:
    Each version of Windows makes finding options such as "Network

    Connections" harder to find. Vista takes you on a magical journey through

    the "Network and Sharing Center" that is full of dangerous obstacles that

    threaten to distract you from your goal.

    Windows 7 is no better in this regard. In fact, even when searching the

    Control Panel for "Network Connections" the proper link does not present

    itself. You have to search for "Network adapters" which exposes a link for

    "Network Connections"!

    Solution:
    Take all of those "super complicated yet very common" configuration
    screens and put them in an extremely easy/obvious place that has less of that "Choose Your Own Adventure" feel.
