    Default WA1003A Support for 2Mbps

    Friends,

I am planning to switch to "Speed Combo 1111" to get the speed (2mbps). I cannot find the specification about WA1003A modem can support it or not. Can one of you please let me know whether you are using WA1003A with 2mbps speed?

    Thank You

    Sunder

Remember that when a router have ADSL2+ then this router support 24Mbps for the Internet if need above speed then your Router is XDSL not the ADSL
and 54Mbps meen the speed of your Wireless not the Internet speed.

    @indranil
for the Internet if need above speed then your Router is XDSL not the ADSL

    is no XDSL router.
    Please give model/make/number.

    Extract

This FAQ discusses xDSL technologies - ADSL, HDSL, VDSL and DSL-Lite - terms relating to higher performance telecommunications networks and services that are being introduced or planned. For completeness where some older terms are used they are also explained. Other FAQs are available addressing other telecommunications terminology.

I mean the VDSL not the XDSL. I mistyped the X instead of V
If I say XDSL then the letter X is a small letter x
    xDSL is a technology

and it easily supports above 2 mbps

currently I'm synched at 10 mbps with the BSNL server (although speed gets capped according to the data plan)

I never ever implied that 54 mbps is the internet speed. I said that the router is capable to support at that speed.

10 mbps is your local LAN speed. You are not synced at 10 mbps with BSNL.

I think dnjkane is saying the Download Rate shows in his ADSL CPE not the LAN speed or the USB speed. If the ADSL CPE shows the 10Mbps Download rate then his ADSL synced with BSNL at 10Mbps.
