no. general settings, available in utorrent options.

Guyz I have started getting this new problem for a few days my LAN get disconnected (NETWORk cable unplugged) and the data and PC LED do some dancing by coming and going off . Though it isn't regular it happens now and then any suggestions as in if is it related to NET or my hardware

You should always mention the modem model/make number in your post/s regarding Internet problems.

When Internet connection is available,
Access your modem settings and see ADSL
settings page and post the details about
SNR ATTN line rate speed and Mod selected.

Looks alright didnt disconnect for a good half hour
can you tell why this happened if its ok with you

will update later. Dinner etc.

Update 2210:
probably two LAN cards accessing the same dll's in the OS.
1. Check SNR Attn etc again. feedback tomorrow.
2.Also confirm whether one of the cards is built in motherboard.
3. any other explanation from other members ?

I have only one LAN card in built in motherboard and the other is just an emulator for Linux and the problem has become worse It has disconected twice while typing this .....

These are the values at that time I did almost everything I could the connection showed phone line is busy.
Finally in the evening I connected my modem directly to LIne (Removing splitter) no luck still and I re connected the splitter and connection happened.
Guyz pls help its getting worse

Did u ping to any of servers ?? Are u not able to browse alone ?

No dint try pinging... and cudn't do anything from browsing to dwlding....

PS:- By the way a funny incident happened a few days back my landline number was interchanged with someone elses number did it hpnd to anybody else I complained to them and then they fixed it

My Bsnl phone is out of order.
Called the number from Airtel L/L
Dial rings heard in Airtel telephone.

Tried for Internet :
Internet connection is working.
confirming Line from Exchange to my house is Ok.
Problem at Exchange telephone switch side may be.
On Phone recorded complaint and ONLINE complaint made.
Hope they will remove the fault today.

Guys plz suggest something my problem is getting worse it keeps disconnecting (LAN disconnected msg keeps coming )

Well Recently (Last Sunday) the cable from BSNL to my house was cut as it was lying on the road and I contacted the BSNL office near my house and they wrote a complaint now it been a week(2nd Monday) and still they haven't fixed it everyday they do 1 task only it seems 2 days for finding where the cable was cut 1 day to analyze... blah blah. I came to know that we can redeem the rent for failure period if it is beyond 3 days i found out but they say I can't do it bcoz i dint complain in customer care toll free 198 can anyone suggest what to do and I am really frustrated by BSNL now planning for airtel IPTV scheme

Register a complaint today, if not done so far.

get yoour line checked..SNR problem

For frequent disconnection there is a cable problem or modem problem. Ask to customer care and check with modem, if there is no problem in modem then you may the problem in cable connection. Try to fix it with no gap, or tie with any electrical tape. Hope this may help you.

Well finally my phone was fixed after 11 days (Just imagine 11 days just to fix one broken line) lets see how long it lasts

Guyz my problem still persists a BSNL person came and told that my modem is not working and should have it changed. The problem as I told earlier my modem has all the LED's glowing other than data LED and on PC it shows networ cable unplugged. after doing power cycles a couple of times it connects then break after sometime. and Also the LED's are flickering a bit(going dim and bright) any suggestions please
