Default How to check usage in Hyderabad

Guys ! They have changed the way to check usage. And apparently its for people from Hyderabad. Previously, a week ago, i could check from the site bsnl.co.in
But now when i called 1500 they said i'd have to do some registrations on CRM and then i will be able to check. The problem is during registration, it says Broadband user id is invalid or there is no active broadband account on this number.

Anyone facing the same problem ? Any suggestions or help ?

Yes,I have observed this phenomenon. the best way is to inform 1500 again that your account "user name" is not in the database checked by CRM
request them to update their CRM look up file
    .
I shall also inform some known friends working in BSNL

    1.
If your consumer number is 8 digit
it is possible. I am awaiting feedback from users ( abcd @bsnl.in)having
10 digit and 12 digit consumer numbers.

    2. There is facility to get SMS or email(weekly I think) in your mobile.

    3. Or you can use
    Shaplus1.3 meter
    or Tautology Bandwidth meter
    and check yourself.
Can be set to ignore usage 0200AM to 0800AM.

Nowadays ( since 15th Dec ) NU is metered correctly.
, but not shown in customer's usage page.

When you register in selfcare page you
    http://selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in/selfc...sdc.bsnl.co.in
    http://selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in/selfc...sdc.bsnl.co.in
    customerID from youtr telephone bill.
use a new userID and password, and give all other details. This can be simple :
    example : sumanth99 password : abc1213d
You have to select a secret question and answer also to get PW again if you forget it. etc.

This selfcare is also common to telephone users/cellphone users also.
and for other VAS related problems.

Once you access this selfcare page,
You get many options including checking BB usage

The 14 digit Usage Portal ID PW to access data.bsnl.in is not valid for Hyderabad abcd @ bsnl users.

    Mine abcd @dataone.in Ip 59.xx.xx.xx.
I have to depend on Hyd members for
    information.
Your broadband userID is the ID you got
    originally to connect to internet.
Phone number STD code without 0 + number
    ( any Example given ?)
If this does not work try the 14digit Usage Portal ID and PW.
    Feedback.

ONLY For Hyderabad Users abcd @bsnl.in

probably the telephone number is to be entered without std code.
    say only 22334455 ( normal)
    or 04422334455 (stdcode)
    0r 4422334455(std code)

Post screen shot of page for BB users.
( no entries specimen form only )

    OR
    add @bsnl.in to your USERID.
    **********_hyd@bsnl.in

    CLASSIC EXAMPLE !
    :
Thread starters fail to give correct information, and after beating about the bush, by chance the solution is found !
    Anyway , surprising @sumanthgutta
never checked his usage as user abcd.@ dataone user. This ID was discontinued
    long back ( I think 18 months earlier ).
@ All credit to @mvssarma for the solution.

Essbee ! i did give the correct info saying i wan't able to register on that selfcare site.
i used to check my usage on another bsnl site. 10.240.89.199 or something like that. It had the same page as is now being displayed by 10.240.48.195 That page hasn't been working since the past 10 days. So i though i'd ask on this forum. Hell with that selfcare site !

And thanks to mvssarma ! And you too for pursuing it so much so that a solution could be found. . .

Just do a google on 10.240.48.195 and you'll see lotsa pages recco-ing that site when users have complained that they haven't been able to check usage. . .

You should call CC and complain about Selfcare not usable by Dataone users, for checking BB usage. VAS checking/
etc. If you cannot Register how can you avail the facilities.
WAIT. will give link for complaints.
