Thread: Help me with my wifi

Hi!

i am facing a problem.my wifi is bad.whenever i want to go wifi with dad's laptop, the wifi is not detected.i have to go to computer room and connect the lan cable and first go to "Wireless" opition.then second i have to disable wireless and enable wireless again.after enabling wireless, the wifi is detected but i can't connect to Dataone even though pc is turned off and no one is using net.then i have to reboot modem 4-5 times and by chance if the modem is detected then it works.this is a frustrating problem..
its been since i brought the modem.
Help me!

Seems to be a defective modem , get a modem from somewhere to test and confirm whether its really defective.

ya i think too.

my brother's laptop didn't detected it too.and when i used wifi with my earlier modem it was detected without any problem....
anyways my modem is lifetime warranty(rent) so i can get it changed anytime.
this will be the 3rd time i am changing modem.
