Default How to configure ZTE ZXDSL 831AII Type I ADSL modem with my wifi router DLINK DL-524

I am currently using BSNL broadband on my laptop by connecting the ZTE ZXDSL 831AII Type I ADSL modem with a wire. Modem was bridge setting (means on laptop, I click on net link, and then enter my username, passoword on dialog).

Now I want to make this internet connection wireless. I have a Dlink wireless router DL-524.

What are configurations required on ZTE modem, Dlink router and on my laptop so that I can access wifi internet on my laptop.

Somebody said that I need to change to PPPoE mode.

Please someone provide all the details and settings.

(Laptop and Dlink router are in working condition. They have been tested on Airtel broadband).

If you had used WIFI DL524 for Airtel, earlier
    changes may not be required.
    Connect and try.

Default Some screen Shots to help You configure wireless router with BSNL type 1 modem

Change the connection type to bridging as shown in the 3rd image. Then set the connection type in the wire router as PPPoE. Give the username and password given by the BSNL Exchange to connect to Broadband. Now actually the router will dial through the DSL modem and will establish the internet connection. PLease see the User Manual to set the appropriate security settings for your wireless network. Hope this would help you guys.
