    Default Surfing speed slow?

Hi,I recently shifted from homecombo750 to homecombo1350UL plan. Now my download speeds are doubled from 25-30kbps to55-60kbps but the problem is that surfing speed has not changed.Webpages take same amount of time to load and youtube video doesn"t run smoothly as it should with 512kBps.Do I need to change settings of my browser?I use firefox 3.5.5

Try TCP Optimizer and reset your MTU Values.

Use Tuneup utilities and optimize your settings.

512 kBps is not much for streaming video, first try to buffer video for few minutes & then watch, or download it & watch....about surfing speed, clear your browser cache & delete cookies.... try better browser than FF..

I use a software named Netlimiter which shows the bandwidth being used by applications. While streaming a youtube or other video, bandwidth never exceeds 26kbps.Shouldn't It use about 50 kbps bandwidth as it is the max. bandwidth provided by 1350UL plan?Anybody having the same problem?I have tried all of above procedures given in posts.

Must be an error in the exchange. The setting still wouldn't have changed. Ask them to check the port and change it if necessary.

Disable all other applications seen in Taskbar. ( Except AV antispy Firewall )
    Check
    speed here:Airtel

report result/s .no need for screen shot.
Also in modem check Mod mode selected. GDMT preferred. ( Mention model/make/number)
