Default How to check your BSNL broadband usage details

I have seen many queries asking how to check the usage details. Most probably it is the most sought out question in this forum. Here is my small contribution towards this topic.

    1. Go to data.bsnl.in, enter your 14 digit portal ID, under postpaid services check your usage details.

    2. SMS and email alerts. Go to bbusage.bsnl.in and register your account. Please give ample time before you get alerts.

    3. Install a third party bandwidth meter. Shaplus bandwidth meter will be a good choice.

    4. Hyderabad users, please check here - ww.selfcare.sdc.bsnl.co.in

These are 4 different source to check your usage details. There are many tools which provide access through their interface. One example is How to check BSNL Broadband usage

The shaplus application you linked at last is very nice. Its saving my valuable time to visit usage site, to manually enter portal id, password, to select service category & so on.. Application does all this on its own. .

check here and select tautology bandwidth meter.
Use both and see any difference .
Both have option to disable metering during NU period.
    http://textmode.cwahi.net/bm.html
    for many more meters.
    tautology bandwidth meter download

If you use FireFox Browser try Addon DataFox.
    Works fine for IP 59.xx.xx.xx. @ dataone.in
Also for Ip 117.xx.xx.xx , @ bsnl.in but some problem reported recently. try and please give feedback.

Make a call to your local exchange. They keep it in their records. username@bsnl.in is the connection ID or User ID.

    Default Cant Check Usage

    Hello Guys,
I have been using the data.bsnl.in portal for checking my usage for a year now, but from last two days, the interface has changed and I am not anymore able to understand how to check my usage. I go to the site and enter my login id and password. The password is accepted and I am logged in. But what I see is attached in a screenshot. Can somebody please tell me what might be the problem or anybody sailing the same ship?
    Help would be much appriciated!

You have to get Usage portal ID and PW password, from your exchange.
If you know your location is included in selfcare sites
try to register there with your own ID.
Password supposed to be sent to the email address you provide.
    This may take a week.

Angry Need help to check usage (Chandigarh Circle)

    Hi
I have been using data.bsnl.in to check my broadband usage but for past couple of weeks the interface has changed. When i log into the portal, i see four links for north, south, east and west. My city Chandigarh is not listed in the north zone.

I still try to logon to ndc selfcare with the same userid and password that I was using earlier for data.bsnl.in portal, but it doesnt work. When i try to register as an existing customer, it asks me for the for customer id. I dont have a customer id in my bsnl bill. I have a customer number which is very big something like PBCHDxxxxxxxxxxx (where x is a numeral).

Looks like selfcare ndc is not for me as Chandigarh is not listed and i don't even have a customer id. Please help me

I have downloaded a utility from bbusage website to check my usage but it sometime gives random results that cannot be trusted. Please help me log into the site and check my proper usage as i was doing before.
