Let's talk about a magic wand. Shaplus Dataone tool is the closest I could find. It is a tool to check your usage from BSNL site. If avoided, every time we need
type the portal address and log in with your ID and password and go through the list.

Shaplus dataone tool can auto log in to the BSNL usage portal. It is designed in such a way that it displays daily total of non NU and NU details in a graphical interface. It also has a summury of session details, daily average and average usable details. It can also show you an estimated bill.

USAGE:
(A) Users with IP 59.xx.xx.xx different version. abcd @ dataone.in
(B) Users with Ip 117.xx.xx.xx different version abcd123 @ bsnl.in
( not tested. whether consumer number has to be stored )
(C)from Hyderabad ---- will not work selfcare portal for usage.

Shaplus meter 1.3 version
(D)reads only traffic for one computer
( only one ethernet card )
(E) If you are in wifi and use multiple systems
install in all. computers. ( keep WIFI secured !)

(F)Will not record VOIP traffic.

(G) If you do not load it at startup always ,
final readings will not tally with BSNL meter.
CAUTION
Use all external meters only as a cross checking facility. .
