Thread: Urgent - Need to know the best service in Noida

Dear Friends,

Kindly help me out with choosing the best internet connection in Noida.

Options :

1) BSNL - Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.

Home UL 750 and Rs. 50/- for modem rental + taxes

2) Airtel - :: Airtel :: Broadband Services - Tariffs - For You

Rs. 749 + taxes (8Gb transfer limit and 256kbps in the day)

3) Tata Indicom - Tata Indicom Broadband 2.0

Infinity 384 - Rs. 1000/- p.m. + taxes and 384 kbps unlimited usage.

4) Reliance - http://www.rcom.co.in/Rcom/personal/...s_internet.pdf

Surf addiction 400 - 400kbps Rs. 749 + taxes unlimited


Now, i need an internet which is fast enough for normal browsing and minor downloading (2-3 GB per month)

It should provide decent performance and should have least disruption rate.

I don't have any work in the night and hence, i should be able to surf comfortably from 10AM to 10PM.

I am staying in noida, so kindly provide me the info on which is the BEST in Noida.

Also, in case of BSNL, they're offering 2 wireless modems - 2UT300R and WA302G4

Please tell me which one is better, more reliable and hassle-free?

UL 750 will serve your purpose. I am not from Noida and hence do not know how is the service there.

For noida Bsnl and airtel both are assume.

1.Nobody could have tried /used all the ISP's in NOIDA and then give a choice to you.

2. As per Forum postings by members using different ISPs, in different parts of the country, overall satisfactory service is by AIRTEL followed by BSNL. ( see the forum posts in BSNL and Airtel forums)

3. For same kind of service BSNL charges tend to be lower compared to Airtel.

4.WA3002_g4 is an adslmodem /router/and wifi model, AND if you intend to use a laptop in mobile mode in your house:
preferred unit. will be the WIFI model.

5. Airtel gives free phone calls
( I get calls worth Rs 200/= P.M free
in their combo plans.)
6. I have both Airtel and BSNL BB
and Customer Service by Airtel is best..
( usually to upgrade the modem free of cost )
Monthly bill usually Rs 660/=
(includes free phone calls)

No need for accessing BSNL CC as no problems till date ( for past two or three years .)
Monthly Bill Rs 300/=approx for BB.

7. AIRTEL:
Some complaints about Airtel, taking the advance and then back out, saying No service possible. better confirm this first, before shelling out any money ( always by Cheque)

BSNL: Apply and wait for response within a week/fortnight or month !
Now Installation Charges are free for
another two months.
confirm with BSNL CC>

Another option: If you have a BSNL Phone Landline, you can also avail Prepaid BB service.
and quit any time you want.

its best to ask people living in your neighborhood .... price is definitely a factor after which you need to consider service!!

Reliance : not many flattering reports about speed/ customer care/ billing!
Try your luck.
Also they seem to lock their modem, and you cannot use laptop in WIFI mode.
Please recheck. I am not sure about this.

True... I had that in my mind. Anyway, I guess Airtel is better than Reliance and I also guess that BSNL will be decent enough to give a good service in Noida. Thanks for ur time.
