Thread: Bsnl downloding speed

HEY FRIENDS,
I am using nokia siemense network c2110 modem. I have 256 plan taken and I am using bsnl broadband but my speed is only 25-28 KB/sec which is like a dialup connection and not a broadband. I can not understand the reason kindly elaborate the solution or advice etc and resolve my queery.

I too use UL 750 and using Nokia Siemens C 2110. The speed you are getting is normal. Whatever you do, you may get a maximum of 32 KBps. Don't confuse KBps with Kbps.

1 KBps = 8 Kbps, 32 KBps = 256 Kbps

You may try

1. Go to speedtest.net, perform a speed test and post the forum link here.

2. Go to speedguide, net and try TCP/IP optimizer.

3. Do you see an orange yellow triangle on the bottom part of utorrent. If yes, try port forwarding guide from portforward.com

the speed within the BSNL network will be 2MBps , overall speed depends which is the lowest speed (data rate) path due to congestion between BSNL ISP and the server ,that you are try to cnnect
